We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return on all non food items.
No refunds or exchanges on all food items due to the consumable nature of the product type. You agree that all food purchases are sold as an all sales are final.
SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
For all other non food items:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Example for internet purchase proof is the order number.
To start a return, you can contact us at contact@oldcityspices.com. If your return for non food items is accepted, return shipping cost is the buyers responsibility. All initial shipping costs that were paid initially are non refundable.
We will give you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Shipping Cost Refunds
Any refund approved will have our initial shipping costs deducted. We often run specials on shipping to help out buyers, so if the shipping is offered reduced or free, our actual cost will be deducted.
Any Return Shipping Costs
Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Our shipping costs will still be deducted from any refund. This is the only way to keep our costs low for all buyers and to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
Refund Processing Time
Please allow upto 14 days after return is received to process any refund or account adjustment. The banks have a delay on returns. In the event buyer initiates a charge back or dispute in lieu of waiting for refund Buyer requested, we will have to follow that process which takes up to 75 days because it is in their hands.

It takes time to research issues since it involves shipping carriers researching as well, their timelines are out of our control and can take several weeks.
Any non receipt of product despite tracking showing GPS says it was received at delivery location is researched. Shipping carriers document GPS satellite geotags upon delivery. They the shipping carrier advised they are not responsible for missing packages. We provide alerts to let you know your shipping status along with tracking numbers including when delivery is made.
Any charge back stating item is not as described requires a complete description of the difference between what the product states it is versus what you state is not congruent with that item description. (An example could be something like I ordered white sesame seeds but received black.) You of course would need to provide pictures of those differences.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, food items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Please follow the process outlined above for the item type you purchased. As stated all food items are sold as all sales are final and non returnable.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Non-Receipt Claims
All orders are shipped with tracking. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure their delivery location is secure. All shipments are GPS tracked. It is the buyers responsibility to provide a secure delivery location, if the buyer feels they need to have the package secured with a signature, please make us aware so signature delivery confirmation can be added for $7 for UPS and $5 for USPS.
We are not responsible for packages stolen from your location.
